Come Visit Mount Vernon, Maine

From the North: Take Interstate 95 South to Exit 109B. Take Route 17 West for 12 miles; note that 17W takes a right hand turn in Manchester.  At Kents Hill, bear right onto Route 41 North. The village of Mount Vernon is located 6.5 miles down Route 41 between Kents Hill and Farmington Falls.

From the South: Take Interstate 95 North to Exit 109. Bear left on the exit onto Rte. 17 West (towards Winthrop). Take Route 17 West for 12 miles; note that 17W takes a right hand turn in Manchester. At Kents Hill, bear right onto Route 41 North. The village of Mount Vernon is located 6.5 miles down Route 41 between Kents Hill and Farmington Falls.

From US Route 2: At Farmington Falls, take Route 41 South for 10 miles. (Farmington Falls is east of Farmington on US 2) The village of Mount Vernon is just south of Vienna on Route 41.

We have an unbeatable country store that sells nearly anything from pizza to gas. Along Pond Road you'll find galleries of local art. Enjoy a bowl of homemade soup or a freshly baked muffin at Scapes on Minnehonk Lake. On the first Saturday of the month mornings, visit the Community Center for coffee and homemade goodies.
